What to Expect

We know that visiting a new church can be a little intimidating to say the least. We want you to feel right at home and comfortable from the time you first walk through the door. Here is a brief summary of what you can expect in our Sunday morning service.

We begin our service with a time of worship to the Lord. We generally sing five or six songs of modern style. Some people will stand; some will sit; some will clap their hands; some will raise their hands; some will be very quiet and others will be more vocal. We encourage you to worship the Lord in your own way. This part usually lasts 30-35 minutes.

After worship, we have sharing time. This is like the family talking about their day. We encourage those who have had answers to prayer or experienced a special blessing from God to share this with everyone else for their comfort, strengthening, and encouragement. This lasts for about 7-10 minutes.

Next we take an offering. This is our way of giving part of what God has given to us back to Him, to be used to minister to needs in our church, our community, and around the world. Guests to our church should never feel obligated to give anything. This is for our regular members.

Following the offering we take a 5-8 minute break. This gives everyone a chance to stretch, use the restroom, get a cup of coffee or tea, and greet each other. This is also the time when the young children go to Kid's Church. If you have a child aged 3-6, they are welcome to attend Kid's Church.

After the break, the pastor will bring a teaching from the Bible that will have relevance for today and a practical application for everyday living.

To close our service, we offer a ministry time. Those who desire prayer for salvation, healing, forgiveness, a closer walk with God, or any other concern are invited to come to the front where other folks in our fellowship will pray with and for them.

Thank you for visiting!
